Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand and frequently referred to as the “City of Waterfalls,” is a stunning metropolis that offers an exquisite fusion of historical significance, cultural diversity, and natural beauty.

Hidden Gems of Ranchi:

If you have booked a Delhi to Ranchi flight, it’s time to start looking for hidden gems to explore Ranchi.

  • Ranchi Lake

The Ranchi Lake is a must-see if you are in the area and have a free day. This is a well-known location in Ranchi, particularly on a bright winter day while you are visiting the area. In order to control the water table in the city, a British colonel constructed the lake in 1842. The lake, also known as the “Bada Talab,” is a great place for a quick picnic and is situated in the heart of the city. You can enjoy boating, strolling around the lake, and visiting Swaminarayan Park while you’re here.

If you enjoy seeing sunsets, you should hike a little to see a stunning Shiv Temple and a spectacular sunset simultaneously. Ranchi Lake is a great place to get away from the bustle and relax for a while.

  • Birsa Zoological Park

Birsa Zoological Park is the ideal location to take in Ranchi’s renowned lush topography and natural surroundings. The Getalsud Dam bank was the site of the 1994 development of the Zoo. The park, spanning several hundred acres, is split into two sections: the Botanical area and the Zoological half. At The Great Lion House, you may see lions, leopards, and Asiatic black bears.

If you’re interested in animals, Birsa Zoological Park may be a good fit for you because, as part of their adoption program, you can adopt an animal and utilize the money you save for the animal’s preservation. When you visit this park, remember to take a million pictures.

  • Nakshatra Van Ranchi

Another well-known Ranchi destination is Nakshatra Van, which pays tribute to both Hindu mythology and the science of astronomical bodies by following the nakshatras and their movements. Jharkhand’s Nakshatra Van, a unique park, is situated in front of the Raj Niwas. The park is divided into several sections, with a circle in the middle that is accurately divided into arcs, each of which represents a sign of the zodiac. There is a claim that the angle of these arcs matches exactly the angle at which the zodiac signs subtend on Earth.

Although the park is home to a number of monuments, the sleeping figure of Dhanvantari, the Ayurvedic god, is usually the center of attention. The park is filled with lovely trees and flowers, but what’s really interesting is that each arc has a tree that corresponds to that sign as well as some uncommon medical herbs. When travelling from Ranchi to Delhi flight, you will always cherish this memory.

  • Jonha Falls

A must-visit location close to Ranchi, especially if you are in the city on business, is the gushing sound of water dropping 43 meters to crash against the massive rock. The sound is quite healing. Johna Falls, which lies on Ranchi’s outskirts, is the ideal place to visit if you need a little getaway from the city. The tourists are treated to a show by the Ganges River-sourced waterfall. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, the Jonha Falls are well-known for their spiritual significance.

According to legend, Gautam Buddha stopped in Jonha and had a dip here on his way to salvation. As a result, Buddhist pilgrims travel to this autumn from all over the world in their spiritual bodies. You can find comfort there, say prayers, and enjoy the outdoors.

  • Sun Temple

Situated roughly 40 kilometers outside the city center, Sun Temple is a vast collection of temples devoted to Lord Surya and a well-known Ranchi tourist destination. The edifice is cleverly designed to resemble a massive chariot with 16 wheels being carried by seven life-size horses. Isn’t that interesting? This depicts Lord Surya riding a chariot, and the seven horses stand in for the seven days of the week and the seven colors of a sunbeam. There is a peaceful pond at the temple where worshippers can go for a dip. Before dawn, in the early morning, is the ideal time to visit the shrine.

With the first beam of light touching the earth, the road leading to this temple is lined with verdant green trees, making it the ideal place for a diversion. We imagine it feels almost wonderful. As you detach from the outside world and establish a connection with the divine, going to the sun temple is like taking a magnificent breath of fresh air.

Conclusion:

Hence, when it comes to travelling by flight, make sure that you fly with utmost comfort. Book your flight in advance, avail all the discounts, pack light and make sure to explore all the flight options available.
